Step 1: Reach Kamshet by Train
Take a local suburban train on the Pune–Lonavala line from Pune Junction or Shivaji Nagar. These trains stop at Kamshet (KMST), about a 45-minute ride from Pune
From Mumbai, take a train to Lonavala, then catch a local train or bus to Kamshet
Step 2: Kamshet → The Sacred Grove
The Arohan ashram is approximately 12 km from Kamshet, situated near Uksan and Shiravata dams
Public transport options include:
Shared Jeep/Auto or Private Taxi/Auto from Kamshet Station
At Kamshet station, you’ll find shared jeeps or autos heading toward Uksan, Shiravata. There are many paragliding operators ride from the station. Normally, they would give a ride for a small charge or sometimes even free.”
🛤️ Directions from Kamshet to Arohan Ashram / Sacred Grove:
From Kamshet, head towards Arohan Ashram.
After approximately 500 meters, take a left turn at the Red Petals Polyhouse.
Continue on the mud road for about 900 meters.
You’ll arrive at The Sacred Grove.
📍Please note: The last stretch is a mud road, so drive cautiously, especially during rains.
